Who We Are

SEJ is a youth-led, intergenerational organizing body that drives efforts for racial and educational justice in Connecticut. We consider “youth” and “young people” to mean high school-aged students and recent high school graduates.

SEJ hosts members in weekly meetings consisting of political education trainings about institutional racism, adultism, anti-Blackness, and other oppressive systems, as well as organizing-related trainings on practices such as one-on-one meetings.
