About Syed >
Syed Ardhi (he/him) is a rising high school junior in New Haven. He became deeply involved with SEJ after attending the SEJ Summer Intensive. He served as an SEJ member, intern, and currently acts as the Summer Fellow. He has represented SEJ at the Culturally Responsive Education Conference at NYU Metro Center, Black Lives Matter Teen Conference at the Schomburg, and is on the research team for Public Act 19-12.
He believes that SEJ allows hims to be around, and work with, young people to accomplish their aligned goals. Outside of SEJ work, he is the lead student designer and robot operator for his school's robotics team. He is also a member of Yale Urban Debate League, Advanced Debate Institution, Highschool Democrats of America, Math Team, student government as president of his class, and the captain of his school debate team. He is interested in a future in either law and politics or a STEM related field.
